Welcome To Creative Jason

Welcome to the first of what will hopefully be many blog posts delving into my creative life.  I’ve let my writing/ creative talents lay dormant too long. This blog represents my all-out-expressive push against the distractions of this age to re-discover myself as well as educate, inform, and showcase my talents for critique and growth to a new generation.

The Olivarri name is built on hard work fueled by creativity and faith.

This decision did not come easy. Escaping comfort for purpose rarely does. That’s the reason behind the Creative Jason space. To not only remember what I’ve done, but examine, assess, and challenge my strengths and weaknesses through original content. Admittedly, even considering this venture was met with self-pessimism. In silence, however, I find my strength to create and pursue my vision of using my gift to help clients craft the best version of themselves.

That’s where this website project has transformed me. By investing time and money into it, I forced myself to gather my finest published articles, photographs, and other materials, establish business social media channels, collaborate and reach out to peers to support and testify to my previous good works. Admittedly, I’ve found quite a bit of joy in the process of creating Creative Jason for all to see. It represents only a fraction of my upbringing with creativity and art, which I have expressed through multiple disciplines ranging from coloring to painting to doodling in the margins of my notebook to martial arts, playing the trumpet, photography, and costuming. Writing, however, ultimately takes the crown. I enjoy the freedom and challenge of self-expression through words. And I accept that I’ll need to be much more active with my content, aggressive in my advertising, and open to criticism to keep my audience (and income) sustainable. That’s ok. I don’t plan on killing my vision either before giving myself a chance.

I hope you’ll enjoy the content and experience I’ve uploaded to this site and greater things to come. God bless the Creative Jason brand.
